The rules for calculating the average weekly worked hours based on employee earnings history are established and maintained using this window. This is used by the Leave Accruals module for the accrual of leave based on average weekly hours worked.
Enter a code (up to 4 characters) that represents the Average Hours Rules.
Enter a description of the Average Hours Rules.
This specifies the number of periods over which to calculate the average weekly worked hours; this field is related to the Period Type field.
The Period Type selected is based on the value entered into the Periods to Average field.

Specify if periods with no pay generated will be included or excluded from the calculation of the Average Weekly Worked Hours.

INCL | Include no pay periods in the average calculated. |
This field can be overridden by the corresponding field in an employee's Average Hours Summary window.
Enter the number of periods prior to an employee's paid-up-to-date that the Period to Average ends on.
If Period Offset is 1 week, and Period to Average is four weeks, then the 4 week Period to Average ends one week before the employee's paid-up-to-date.
This field may be overridden by the corresponding field in an employee's Average Hours Summary window.
Up to 12 Hours Type Codes can be nominated to be INCLUDED or EXCLUDED in the calculation of Average Worked Hours.
If any Hours Type Codes are entered in the Hours Type Overrides field, you need to specify here whether these codes are to be included (INCL) or excluded (EXCL) from the calculation of the Average Worked Hours.

INCL | Include the Hours Types Override entries. Only the Hours Codes entered are included in the calculation. All other Hours Codes are ignored even if the Hours Type Codes are flagged with 'Y' in the Include Hours Worked in Leave Accruals field |
