This check box allows the distribution of hours from a leave application to be determined from the employee's Roster information in Time. The employee's Work Pattern (or Base Hours) would only be referenced where there is no Roster information for a date. Note that this field is only enabled if the Import Leave To field is set to 'T'.
Depending whether it is ticked or not, the distribution of hours for each date in the leave application will be based on the following hierarchy:
Heirarchy | |
---|---|
When check box is ticked |
|
When check box is unticked |
|
Regardless of the option selected, if there are excess hours from the leave application to be distributed, the remaining hours are to be output to the last day of the leave application.

This field, when set to 'Y', displays the Splits drilldown on the Self Service's Bank Details screen.
- If the Display Bank Splits field is populated with 'N', the ESS User will not be able to maintain any Bank Splits.
- The Maximum Number of Bank Splits field should also be populated to enable the total number of active bank splits to be available for each employee to maintain, including future-dated banking splits. Leaving the value of this field as '0' means that any number of bank splits can be populated.
- For example, the value entered in "Maximum Number of Bank Splits" is '3'. When an ESS user is then maintaining Bank Details, they should only be allowes to save three Bank Splits. With effective dating, changes saved for future dates will not be visible to the ESS user, so when the Splits are recorded on the employee file, the ability for the employee to add more splits will be disabled and a message will be displayed: "Maximum splits reached, including splits to start in the future.". At this stage, the user can remove (if visible) a Bank Split and proceed to adding a new one.
Input the error message you want to appear for display when invalid BSB details are entered.
An invalid BSB is a BSB not yet saved in Preceda. Before saving a new BSB in Preceda, the User should validate that the BSB does exist in the bank.
