Y | Begin auto generating the ID Number from the value entered in the Last ID Number Auto Generated field. |
N |
The Last ID Number Auto Generated field cannot be accessed.
|
Employee number can start at zero with a maximum of six digits.
The Auto Generate ID Number also applies to employees created via Mapper, and if the mapper file contains an ID Number (where this field is set to Y), it will be rejected with the error message: "ID Number is invalid. ID Number should be auto generated".
This is the last ID Number that was automatically generated.
When Prevar *PP_SBR is set to 'Y', this field is editable. When *PP_SBR is set to 'N', this field defaults to 'F' and becomes non-editable.
Your selection to this field (whether F - File or S - SBR) will flow through to the Method field of the Tax File Number Declaration screen.
This option sets the default Change Reason that is allocated to the Position field in the Position History screen when a new hire is created.
