Occ Super Criteria
The criteria defined on this window will determine if employees qualify for Occupational Superannuation, where contributions are accumulated during the first qualifying period, with the option of allocating those contributions (back pay) to the employee.

- Read about Occupational Superannuation
- Setup Allowance/Deduction code for Occupational Superannuation (the Allowance/Deduction code used must have a classification of S).
Rules and Guidelines
- Employees with an Employment Types other than Permanent, Temporary, Casual or External will be ignored by this process.
- Employees without a Date of Birth setup will not be included in this process.
- The Go button is used to select from any existing Occ Super Criteria records.
Field Information
This is the Allowance/Deduction code that is used to identify a Superannuation Scheme.
This displays the three different Employee Types of Permanent, Temporary or Casual.
Two sets of the following fields are displayed: One set for the first or initial qualifying criteria and another set for the following or subsequent qualifying criteria.
The number of consecutive pays that must pass before contributions begin.
The frequency that the qualifying criteria is checked, this is measured in weeks.
The minimum number of hours worked per week based on the average or actual earnings based on the value of the calculation method
If this field is used, the Minimum $ field must be left blank.
The minimum earning per week based on average or actual earnings based on the value of the calculation method
If this field is used, the Minimum Hours field must be left blank.
The minimum age of an employee. The employee must be of this age, or older before contributions are calculated
The Calculation Method will be based on the Min Hours or Min $ entered.

Indicate if the Occupational superannuation contribution accumulated over the qualifying period is to be allocated to the employee or not.
