Average Hours Selection
This window allows for the set up and maintenance of processing selection parameters for the calculation of employee Average Weekly Worked Hours based on :
- Average Hours Type to include in the calculation of average weekly worked hours;
- Employees or groups of employees to include in the calculation of average weekly worked hours;
- Selection is by Payrun Group, Pay Frequency or up to eight individual employees.

Rules and Guidelines
- Program Control option PAYEN position 15 must be set to Y to automatically update employee's records with Average Hours during the Close Payrun process.
- The result of the calculations can be viewed on the employee's Average Hours Summary window.
- The Calculation of Average Hours processing can be Payrun Environment specific.
Field Information
Select a Payrun Group that will include employees for the calculation of employee Average Weekly Worked hours.
- If the field is left blank all Payrun Groups will be included.
- If a user has a Payrun Environment setup, this field must be blank.
Include or Exclude employees by Pay Frequencies. Select either all frequencies or select a combination of the other options.
Select the Average Hours Type for Populate Average Hours utility. Only valid Average Hours Types applicable for Average Hours calculation visible in this section. To select, tick the check box beside the Average Hours Type.
Up to eight individual employees can be included in the Leave Accrual processing.
- To include all employees that meet the other selection criteria, leave the field blank.
