Average Hours Rules

The rules for calculating the average weekly worked hours based on employee earnings history are established and maintained using this window. This is used by the Leave Accruals module for the accrual of leave based on average weekly hours worked.

Prerequisites

  • Program Control option PAYEN Option 15 should be set to Y to automatically update employee's records with Average Hours during the Close Payrun process.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Most of the fields on this window correspond with those on the Employee Average Hours Summary window, which overrides any values specified in the Average Hours Rules window.
