Rules and Guidelines
- Access to Analytics module is controlled by the Define Access Profile screen. Once the Analytics module is enabled, it will be listed on this screen and it is required to define Preceda Access Privilege as Change to make use of it in full.
- The "Preceda Dashboards" checkbox on the Advanced User Setting screen should also be ticked in order to activate the Preceda Dashboards on every User Profile.
- Each Pre-Defined Analytic View can be activated on the Dashboard Access screen. Once activated, the individual Views will be available in Preceda's Welcome Page.
- Once the Analytics Module has been enabled, a group of Pre-Defined Views are made available within the Dashboard's Widgets. The Views listed and data presented on the screen below depend on the user's Access Profiles and Security Profiles settings.
- The Pre-Defined Views you have access to, by default, and are part of the Analytics Module cannot be modified or deleted. These are only available on the Analytics Module, Dashboards, and My Favourites. Pre-Defined Views can be added on the Welcome Page as widgets by selecting a View and clicking the "Add Widget" button.
- Each Pre-Defined View belongs to one of the following categories in the Navigator menu: Compensation, Workforce Administration, Employee Management, and Safety.
- This icon
, when clicked, displays an overview/ report definition on the selected Pre-defined Report.
- Preceda MSS users have the option to select 'C' for Costing Levels and 'O' for Org Structures on the Dashboard Options screen so that the Dashboard Widgets will display either costing or organisation data in the parameters.
- Various formats are allowed to be exported through Jaspersoft. You may export files as PDF, Excel, CSV, DOCX, RTF, ODT, ODS, XLXS or PPTX via the ExportReport option.
- The following Metric Rules are important in order for the Pre-Defined Analytic Views to display correctly.
