Country Codes

Country Codes are used when defining information in relation to other countries, and when defining Visa Details.

Rules and Guidelines

  • The Visa Details window uses Country Codes.
  • Information such as Visa Details require the recording of the country where the visa was issued.
  • You should only setup ISO3166 Country Codes.
    • three-character alpha
    • two-character alpha
    • Note: Three-character numeric is not supported.

Field Information

This is the valid ISO Country Code.

This is a description of the Country Code.

This is a 16-character description that can be used with report.

This displays the ISO Country Code Description. This reduces the chance of incorrect or unintentional mapping of the Country Code to another country's Description/Name. Likewise, this identifies existing Country Codes which may be wrongly configured against ISO Standards. Only the correct ISO Country code will be transferred and used in the integration with other systems, such as Dayforce.
