Populate Position FTE Hours Per Week

This window allows for a bulk update of the Position FTE Hours per Week value, based on a selection criteria.

Prerequisites

  • Setup Program Control Option FTE.

Rules and Guidelines

  • This process should only be run when all users have logged out of Preceda and no background processes are running.

  • This process will update FTE Hours per Week on the Positions Definition file.

  • Note: This process may take a while.

Field Information

Enter the number of FTE Hours per week to be updated.

Code Description
1 Update blank / zero values only
Only update values if the FTE Hours per week field is either Blank or has a zero value.
2 Reset All
This option populates the FTE Hours per week field on all Position Definitions with the value specified, regardless of the existing value in the field.

 

If selected, the FTE will be recalculated and Preceda will generate a Service History record for all employees attached to the position.

  • This field is only available if Program Control option SERVH, position 14 is set to Y.
  • If position 14 is not set to Y the following message appears:-
    Program Control Option-FTE is set NOT to calculate Employees FTE therefore this
    update to the Position FTE Hours per Week will not cause a recalculation of
    Employee FTE during Update Employee FTE.
