Course Prerequisites

Course Prerequisites are set standards that must be achieved before an employee may attend a training session. For example, a Basic course may have to be attended before an Advanced course, or it may be necessary for an employee to have achieved competent levels at a particular competency before attending a course.

  • A combination of prerequisites and competencies can be used.
  • Details of course prerequisites can be recorded/viewed directly onto the table, or drilled down on the record.

This is a Training Course that will need to be completed before the selected course is taken.

Comments about the prerequisite course can be added. 

Options - Competency

This is a Competency Code for competencies that are a prerequisite for this course.

If using competency roll ups, it is necessary to add only the highest level of any competency required (all lower links will be added automatically).

Populate with the level number and description for the Competency Code.

This is the Proficiency Level required as a prerequisite for this course.
