Work Pattern Roster
This screen provides the ability to view the shift for each day within the Work Pattern.

Rules and Guidelines
- Only required if Preceda Time is being used.
- The Work Pattern Roster Start Date & the number of weeks displayed for a Work Pattern Roster are determined by what was setup in the Work Pattern Code.
- Days without any shift times assigned will default to 00:00-00:00.
- All employees assigned to the same Work Pattern Code will automatically be on the same Work Pattern Roster but their start week may vary depending on the Work Pattern Start Week set up on the employee record.
- A Work Pattern Code must be selected before information is displayed.
- Any transfers set up will apply to all employees linked to this Work Pattern Roster. These can be overridden on the Individual Primary Roster once copied across from the Work Pattern Roster if required.
Field Information

The start date is the date determined when the work pattern code was created.
The window shows the shift start and end times for each week of the Pattern Code.

Up to 6 Rosters can be displayed. The Stored Roster holds the Begin Shift, Begin Meal, End Meal and End Shift fields that have been saved as a Stored Roster.
These stored rosters can be loaded for any day by highlighting the day to be changed and selecting the button that corresponds to the required Stored Roster.
Alternatively enter the required shift star and end times and meal break start and end times as required.

Displays the dates of the rosters, beginning with the work pattern code start date.

The time of day the employee is expected to start work.

The time of day the employee is expected to start a meal break.

The time of day the employee is expected to end a meal break.

The time of day the employee is expected to stop work.

A Daily Rule Profile to be assigned when an employee punches in on this shift for this day.
Transfers
Drill-down on the shift line to setup transfer fields that an employee's time can be attributed to any of the 7 level fields when they punch in.

The times for the Begin Shift, Begin Meal, End Meal and End Shift are displayed and cannot be changed.
- If wanting to alter an employee's shift or level codes for the entire shift, the information is entered into the top half of the window.
- The shift is the shift number 1 through 9 if required.


The start time for each transfer.
- The system will assume that the end time is the start time of the next transfer, or if no transfer is entered, the end time for the shift.

The shift that the employee is to be changed. This is the shift number 1 through 9.

The level codes that the employee is to be transferred.
