Status Codes

This window is used to control whether an employee of a particular status can punch in or punch out, and whether an employee's Time Records will display on the Time Editor window.

Rules and Guidelines

• The most commonly used Status Codes are A for Active and T or Terminated.
• These codes are used to describe the employee status within the Preceda database.
• The status code can also be used for reporting and grouping like employees.

Field Information

Code

This is a single character code that represents the Status Code. These codes are already established within Preceda, when Enter is pressed all records will appear.

A	Active
T	Terminated

 

Description

This displays the default description of the Status Code.

Allow to Punch at Clocks

Indicate if an employee with this status is allowed to punch at time clocks or not.

Code	Description
Y	Allow employees to punch records at time clocks.
N	Prevent employees punching records at time clocks.
