Calculate Average Rates

This window calculates the average rate of pay for employees.

Prerequisites

• No prerequisites

Rules and Guidelines

• If employees have been setup to use Average Rates this process must be run as part of the Payrun cycle.
• Average Rate calculations can be linked to an employee during the Hire process or through the Payment Details window.

Field Information

Average Rate Date

The date of the last pay period to be calculated for each of the Average Rate codes.

• Normally calculation would be done to the last date that he employee is being paid.

Select Run Process to begin the calculation.

• On completion, the Average Rates are recalculated and the Calculate Average Rates report lists for each employee affected, the base hours, the total weeks and the average rate for each of the six calculation methods.
