Express Payments Entry

This section is used to process an employee's termination.

The following two options are used to terminate an employee:

• The Express Pay Wizard window can be used for immediate terminations. The payment can be entered and processed so that the employee's termination pay is paid to them immediately. The details are passed to the payroll as a prepayment.
• The Termination Wizard guides a user through a series of windows related to termination processing. Using this wizard allows the user to terminate and pay an employee outside payroll processing.
  Time Entry transactions for termination pay for unused leave can be calculated and entered manually, or the Termination module can perform the calculations and generate the transactions.
