Organisation

The Organisation Module is the starting point of Preceda Human Resources Information System. It is where the organisational structure and details of the positions held by the employees in your company are established. This module is necessary when implementing Self Service and for security purposes for large organisations.

There is a need for careful planning and a clear understanding of your organisation's hierarchical structure and the relationships between the various departments/units/sections and the positions that report into these specific areas.

Preceda will still operate without the organisational units and positions being established in full; however, the information you will then obtain from the system will be limited.

• Organisations can be established in various combinations.
• It is strongly recommended that a Consultant is involved in the configuration of your Organisational Structure.
• Each organisational level is given a generic name, such as company, branch and department which may be used for reporting purposes.
