The Expense Codes entered on this window must conform with the requirements of the Australian Bureau of Statistics for reporting purposes.

Rules and Guidelines

• The Relevant Booklet may be obtained from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
• The code is made up of a single character.
• Expense Codes are used in the Cost Categories window and are referred to as ABS Expense Type.
• The code cannot be changed once created, but instead must be deleted and re-entered.
