Leave Accruals

There are many benefits when using Leave Accruals, including:

• One Leave Accrual Method is created to define the rules on how leave is accrued.
• Apart from the standard leave types of annual leave, sick leave and long service leave, leave is accrued for up to five additional user defined leave types.
• Accrual calculations can be based on base hours, actual worked hours, average weekly worked hours, over a nominated period or a combination of these.
• Stepped and cyclical accruals according to periods of service can be defined.
• Leave balances can be displayed in windows or reports in an alternative unit of measure (e.g. annual leave balances, stores in hours can be displayed in inquiries and reports as in days, weeks or months).
• Alternative Pay rates for Leave Liability Report can be defined.
• Projected leave accruals without affecting actual leave balances to determine future leave liabilities can be generated.
• Long service leave accruals can be stored as hours, days, weeks, months or years, as setup in the Long Service Leave absolute value.
