Date Processing Criteria

This window is used to control the dates that are entered into various windows. It is designed to assist in preventing the entry of a date too far in the future.

Rules and Guidelines

  • This option is not available if Future Dating is activated.
  • If the date entered does not come within the criteria entered into any of the fields described a message is displayed.
  • The criteria entered will not prevent the running of any process, if Yes is selected.
  • The windows and dates controlled by this option are:
    Payrun HeaderPeriod End Date
     Payment Date
     The three Pro-rata Dates
    Calculate Leave AccrualsThe five Accrue to Dates
     Overall Accrue to Date
    One Step Payroll ProcessingLeave Accrual Date

  • The default date in the system is 30 days.

Field Information

Issue a warning to users when processing dates are more than xx days in advance of today's date. (Where today's date is the system date at the time of processing)

This is the number of days in advance of today's date to be used as a deadline.
