Payroll Leave Type Filters

This window defines which Payroll Leave Type codes are to be displayed in Self Service, in the Enter the type of leave you are requesting field in the Leave Application detail window in Self Service.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Payroll Leave Type Filters are used when defining Payroll Templates.
  • If no Filter is defined and applied in a template, all Hours Codes of Leave classification are automatically displayed with default descriptions, including any User Defined Leave Type codes.

Field Information

Enter a code of up to 10 characters which the represents the Payroll Leave Type Filter.

This field displays the Hours Type Code.

This field displays the Hours Code description from the Hours Type Codes window.

A different description can be entered to make the leave selection display more user friendly. The description entered here is displayed in the Self Service Leave Application Detail window in the Enter the type of leave you are requesting field.

Specify if this Payroll Leave Type code will be available for employees in Self Service or not.

Specify if this Payroll Leave Type code will be available for managers in Leave by Proxy or not.
