Allow/Deduct Code Filters

This window defines which Allowance/Deduction codes are to be displayed in the A/D Code field in the Claims window for Self Service access.

Prerequisites

Rules and Guidelines

  • If no filter ID is defined and applied in a template, all the Allowance/Deduction Codes setup in the Allow/Deduct Codes window are automatically displayed.
  • If adding an Allowance/Deduction Code it must be manually included in the filter.

Field Information

Enter a code of up to 10 characters that represents the Filter.

This field displays the Allowance/Deduction code.

This field displays the description of the Allowance/Deduction code.

A new description can be entered to make the Allowance/Deduction code more user friendly. The description entered is displayed in the Self Service Claims window in the A/D Code field.
