Leave Accrual Selection

This window allows for the setup and maintenance of selection parameters for the calculation of Leave Accruals based on :-

  • Which Leave Classifications to accrue,
  • the employees or groups of employees to have leave accrued by specifying payrun groups, pay frequency, employment type or employee number selection,
  • the date that leave is to accumulated to,
  • whether the accrual calculation is a projection of leave only, i.e. employee leave balances are not updated.

Prerequisites

Rules and Guidelines

  • As many selection records as required can be setup.
  • Each Leave Accrual Selection is identified by a unique Process ID.

Field Information

Enter a code of up to 3 characters that represents the Leave Accrual Selection.

Select the Payrun Group that will include employees for the accrual calculation.

If the field is left blank, all Payrun Groups will be included.

Enter a description of the selection criteria.

Leave Accruals can be nominated to include or exclude employees by Pay Frequencies.

Select either All Frequencies or select a combination of the other options.

Leave Accruals can be nominated to include or exclude selected leave classifications in the accrual calculations.

Select either All or select a combination of the other options.

Up to four employment types can be included in the Leave Accrual processing; select All to include all employees that meet the other selection criteria.

Up to eight individual employees can be included in the Leave Accrual processing .

To include all employees that meet the other selection criteria, leave the field blank.

A combination of level codes can be selected to produce a valid report.

Leave the fields blank to include all levels.
